Hello! Today were talking about Hammie tips for lost hamsters!  By the way Sorry I never answered the last post for healthy foods and non healthy, I went back and there was so edit sign! So I just say foods you should never give to a ham:

Onions

Reguler food like pizza

Nothing with sugar, greese, fat, or butter (there can be SOME but little)

No peanut butter or put on a very little layor (a spoon full can KILL)

no carrots for dwarfs.

no apples for dwarfs.

I accidently gave my dwarf some peanut butter for like a month and worse alot of it! not a spoon full atleast but when i saw how munch they loved it i added more. Poor babies, Also it gets worse! Dwarfs stomichs are more prone to stomich issues i forgot like dii….Dieria?? wutever you spellz it! Thankfully my hamsters were all good the whole way! I read a bunch of files and saw how lucky i was. a LOT!! of hamster owners have made the same mistake but not as lucky… the peanut buter is so sticky it can get stuck when swallowed and it can sufficate or it can store it in its cheeks were itll get stuck. I am a very lucky girl for my hamsters have gotton SO close to ‘the end’ Firstly my Buckaroo was lost, door OPEN! i was at shcool, 11 and get out at 3…4 hours he could of been gone! WE searched for a porbible record of shortest finding, I wa slike to tears when i walked to my bedroom of which the door was WIDE OPEN and as i said at the lost hamster page you find hamsters when you least expect I had lost ALL hopes little did i know it was only 10 minutes and it could of been WEEKS and i saw my little baby running across the floor under the bed like weve checked under a billion times. He looked so happy his ears perked up he looked like an explorer. I was so happy! Also The next was the peanut butter accident and also my mom mad eme go to bed at 8 and if i hadnt stayeed up till 9 accidently I wouldnt of known that Huidini’s cage went out of place and before i knew it I was taking pictures when i was watching him not even seeing it when he starting drawing out half out, thankfully he never made it id been two seconds i wanted to tape it but he never did make it thankfully. I put it in place it wouldnt go to i scaringly taped A LOT of tape all over it and put a cardboard wall on it, ya they can bite through it but the scratch sounds will help and itll take a long time for him to scratch his face through. I added some more ‘how to stop it form happening and how to save ideas to the CATCH list. Here is what im currently using on buckaroo. I was at the store buying food when i saw a little strong string thing to hold the bags together. Perfect for the hamsters cages! If your hamsters cage is wire aall over this works perfectly!
